Just upstream of the Mori no Ohashi Bridge on the Matsukawa River, you’ll find a beautiful igneous rock face of basalt columns called the Matsukawa Valley Genbuiwa.
A stunning view unfolds as you walk along the promenade from the base of the bridge on the riverbank. The autumn is particularly breathtaking, when the contrast between the brightly colored leaves and the Matsukawa River looks like a landscape in a painting.
