This hot spring is said to have the longest history of all the Matsukawa Hot Springs, having opened in 1743.
The clouded white water from the source is so concentrated that the sulfur content seems to soak into every corner of your body, and is full of minerals! This is the perfect hot spring for those who want to enjoy a hidden hot spring.
There are two indoor baths each for men and women and two outdoor baths, one for mixed bathing and one for women only.
Try the famous onsen tamago (hot spring-boiled egg) after your bath! Kuro-chan and Momo-chan, the resident cats, will welcome you.
