Matsuo-Hachimantai Aspite Farmers’ Market
As its name suggest, the Matsuo-Hachimantai Aspite Produce Store is located right next to the Aspite Line mountain road, and shares the same building with the Visitor Center next door.
Aspite sells fresh fruits and vegetables direct from local farms, as well as various crafts, goods and souvenirs that are signature to Hachimantai! They also have a small food court, so trekkers can fill up on a hearty lunch before heading up the mountain.
