Yu-land Shimizugawa – Fishing Spot

Yu-land Shimizugawa is a managed fishing spot fed with fresh water from Mt. Iwate and Mt. Hachimantai, well known within the prefecture for its natural ambience. You can catch charr, rainbow trout, Japanese huchen, and silver salmon there.
The area hosts a variety of ponds and streams to match a range of skill levels, fishing styles and goals, so anyone from children and beginners to experienced fishers can enjoy the thrill of the pull!
There are also rental rods and bait available for sale, so there’s no need to prepare; stop by whenever the fancy takes you!
※Silver salmon and huchen are only available to those who bring their own rods. Bait fishing is only available during the morning.
※Business hours and days may change without notice due to weather or maintenance.
